Commission’s Communication lacks commitment to eliminate- reaching out to EU Parliament
Brussels 2nd April 2019
Dear Member of the European Parliament,
Subject: Commission’s Communication lacks commitment to eliminate EDCs – we call on you to raise a question with a resolution at the plenary
Today, two top European scientists present their study at the Petition Committee of the European Parliament “Endocrine Disruptors: from Scientific Evidence to Human Health Protection”, which highlights that we know enough on the adverse effects of endocrine disruptors (EDs) to start regulating them and monitoring exposure, across all sectors.
On the other hand, the Commission’s Communication in November 2018 “Towards a comprehensive European Union framework on endocrine disruptors” lacks commitment to eliminate ED chemicals (EDCs) from our daily lives. PAN Europe is deeply disappointed.
