This list of 88 substances was established through the extraction of Active Substances from the Annex 1 of Regulation 648/2012 (PIC regulation) with at least one MRL set on a food item above Limit Of Detection (LOD), based on the EU MRL database. (Parent pesticide groupings and Isomer have also been added manually). Of these 57 are included in PAN International’s Highly Hazardous Pesticides (HHP) list.
It should be noted that at least 46 additional « non-authorised substances » from the EU pesticide database also have residue limits above the LOD but are not included in the PIC list and therefore have not been added to the table.
