Webinar: Leuven as a Pesticide-Free Town

PAN Pesticide Action Network Europe (PAN Europe) and Buğday Association for Supporting Ecological Living held the Leuven as a Pesticide-Free Town Webinar on Monday 30th May 2022, from 10:00 to 11:30 CET within the framework of the Pesticide-Free Towns Turkey Project.

During the webinar, Leuven's journey towards ecological and sustainable town maintenance and weed management was discussed. The Deputy Mayor of Leuven, David Dessers, representatives of the town of Leuven and Joop Spijker from Wageningen University talked about pesticide-free weed management in Belgium from various angles as they share their experiences frame by moderator Natalija Svrtan. 

The event was be held in Dutch, English and Turkish with translation in said languages.
