Campaign ‘Call for Action’
We are all exposed to endocrine disrupting chemicals-EDCs in our daily lives But despite growing evidence that exposure to them is contributing to a range of health problems, governments have been slow in regulating and eliminating this exposure. This Call for Action, signed by 17 NGOs from all over Europe, arises from the urgent need to reduce people’s exposure to EDCs and states what the EU and national governments should do. Read more.
PAN EUROPE ACHIEVES A LANDMARK VICTORY IN LUXEMBOURG COURT
On a case started by PAN-Europe in 2008 Court judgement says EU Commission wrongly implemented the Arhus Treaty. Commission should grant NGO’s the right to request a review of EU decisions in stead of denying them this right in all previous cases. This new judgement will pave the way for PAN Europe as well as other NGO’s to be able to better defend their interests in the future. EU Commission appealed in August. Read more.
